Well, I feel loved today.
First of all: shout-out to any and all who work in customer service. Rose from AT&T is unquestionably among your hallowed ranks.
I called them because I was due for an upgrade, and had my sights set on a phone on sale for Cyber Monday… only to discover that my upgrade mysteriously disappeared. Suddenly, I wasn’t eligible until November, 2014.
Um, what? No. So I called them. And I got Rose.
She not only finagled a manager override to fix the problem. She not ONLY snagged the Cyber Monday price deal. She managed to find a few other deals I knew nothing about, and knocked the price of my dream-phone down… to forty dollars.
Forty-eight with tax.
