THE RULES

1. NO GENERATIVE AI. This is non-negotiable. Use of it is a bannable offense.
2. Respectful communication. It’s really simple: would you like it if someone said THAT to YOU? No? Then don’t say it.
3. No hate speech or discrimination. Hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability is strictly prohibited and, after one warning, bannable.
4. Privacy. One of the keys to this is that your work won’t be scanned by bots or stolen. This is why we do not allow generative AI, and why we trust you NOT TO copy or share anything anyone else has shared here. Respect the privacy of others.
5. No spam. Obviously, you will share your artwork and books. This is about EXCESSIVE posting of self-promotional material, spam, or irrelevant content is prohibited.
6. Credit your sources. When sharing art or writing from anywhere else, include the original source (if possible).
7. Constructive criticism. We all know how painful it is to hear negative feedback. Your goal with feedback should be to keep that person creating, encouraging them to learn and grow.
8. Report rule violations. We can’t read minds. If someone is acting badly, reach out and let us know so we mods can handle it.

NOTE: sign-ups are manually approved, so you won’t get access right away. I am DAMNED serious about protecting artists, so I will need to look you over before letting you in.
