Science-fantasy is a sub-genre of speculative fiction that combines elements from both science-fiction and fantasy. The end result is an often messy but usually beautiful tale, broader than either category on its own. Here’s the Wikipedia entry. Have fun. Of course, the lack of boundaries is often problematic. MagicHumans can be very slow at ‘getting’ things, but perhaps that only makes sense. After all, they alone among the... must have rules, and science fiction needs the wonder, breadth, and scope of raw possibility. An effective science-fantasy will combine all these elements, and that is my goal with this series. Aliens and spaceships, magic and elves prance across these pages, if not quite hand-in-hand, at least within glaring distance.
