One of the two ancient magical items which control the world of the Fey by siphoning all Fey magic (and some non-Fey from the Stolen). The power they wield goes beyond comprehension, and they do not share enough magic to keep their people fully well. Created after the First War by Mab, leader of the Unseelie Fey, the Throne still carries Mab’s soul inside it, and sanity is… at a premium. At least it isn’t the Scepter, which has a tendency to destroy its chosen ruler after a time.
