Solomon Aviwe Iskinder is the ancestor of Harry Iskinder, and the first of the Iskinders to encounter Notte. He’s a brilliant man, ambitious, and burdened with terrible knowledge: the earth will not sustain human life much longer, and some new way has to be found. Sol is determined to find a way for his son, Jason, to survive – no matter the cost.
