So how cool is this: we live in Seattle now.

I’ve been in plenty of cities. My grandmother lived in Manhattan, and good friends have lived in LA or Miami or Philadelphia. However, I’ve never lived in a city, and neither has my husband.
I will definitely have more thoughts on this as time goes on, but for right now, I must say this is fairly nifty. I miss the privacy and quiet of the country, but the convenience of this place is really hard to beat. I cannot wait to hook up with the indie bookstores and artists in the area.
That will have to wait, however. I’m currently laid up from (first) twisting my knee something terrible, and (second) some kind of vicious rhinovirus-mutant that seems determined to end my existence (or at least my ability to breathe). Unpacking will take a while.
And now for your viewing pleasure, some photos.
