See that stuffing? We made it ourselves, and you can, too. This is DELICIOUS, super-easy, and incredibly satisfying for everyone.
(Note: we had to do this without onions or onion-powder because my husband is allergic. If you want ’em, you can always add ’em in to taste.)
Stuffing
Servings: A bunch
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. of toasted, squared bread (Grand Central Rustic Stuffing is delicious)
- 8 TB butter
- 1 1/3 cup diced celery
- 3 large cloves minced garlic
- 1 tb sage
- 1 tb thyme
- 2-4 cups chicken broth (you may need more)
- salt, freshly ground black pepper to taste
Saute the celery until tender, then add the garlic and stir for a minute or so. Remove and cool slightly.
Add the parsley, sage, thyme, and a cup of broth, mixing thoroughly.
Add the croutons now, and mix it really well.
Salt and pepper to taste. Add more broth as it goes – you can determine the consistency you like.
Just keep it all cooking and stirring until it looks, tastes, and smells fantastic.
Enjoy!
