Landfall is what humans call surviving land sticking out of the black water that isn’t quite large enough to build on, but isn’t small enough to be considered a tuft.

Landfall is what humans call surviving land sticking out of the black water that isn’t quite large enough to build on, but isn’t small enough to be considered a tuft. They’re usually large enough to host a small gathering of Travelers with tents and boats.

Some are muddy and wet; some are dry and crumbly. Very few grow anything, even though tufts are usually covered with grass.
