In the book THE SUNDERED, Aakesh is a First-Tier Sundered One and the secondary protagonist.
His name means “Lord of the Sky” in Sanskrit, and he chose it for himself.
In appearance, he is a solid black that absorbs light, and his form is androgynous. His long hair seems to have a life of its own, and his irises are a brilliant, fiery red. He wears clothes – a rarity among Sundered Ones – in the form of a simple white kilt, draped low on his hips.
His grace is inhumanly unnerving – which fits, because he’s definitely good at drama.
He has more power than any Sundered One Harry has ever seen, able to do almost anything he puts his mind to – including matter manipulation and the control of other living creatures. His only seeming limitation is the effect of being Claimed… though there also seems to be some kind of strange binding on him that Harry Iskinder can’t quite figure out. Something that prevents Aakesh from obeying certain commands, even when he wants to.
Disturbingly intelligent, Aakesh both frightens and excites Harry, who will do anything to keep Aakesh claimed.
