"Among the Mythos, who are you?" is the standard greeting, regardless of language. It's a polite way of inquiring the other's heritage, which then gives the one who asked some idea... empire. Somewhere along the line, they became less about “go out and have fun” and more about “kill what you find, especially if it’s a challenge.”
They’re deeply feared, and fortunately, usually run in worlds other than I don't really need to tell you about this place. You live there.
