Welcome To The World Of Tomorrow!!!
The Laws Of 2009.
1.Will you be looking for a new job?
No – though it could be said I’m still trying to become employed by finding an agent/publisher.
2.Will you be looking for a new relationship?
With an agent!
Otherwise, in terms of relationships, I honestly just want to try to hang on to the friends I have. You’d be amazed how difficult this can be with a little thing like lifestyle changes.
3.New house?
Eeek, I certainly hope not! I love my home.
4.What will you do differently in 09?
Get back in shape, damnit. Every time I tried this year, EVERY time, something really drastic went wrong.
5.New Years resolution?
Get over my fears and continue writing.
6.What will you not be doing in 09?
Wasting time. (Same as ‘s, but I couldn’t have said it any better.)
7.Any trips planned?
Tentatively. To NJ for certain, to NYC possibly, to CA maybe; beyond that, I don’t know yet. (Though I do expect a brief foray to FL… *grins*)
8.Wedding plans?
Been there, done that.
9.Major thing on your calendar?
Scheduled: January 20th. Not scheduled: surgery for my husband, who will hopefully be getting the bone spurs removed from his leg, lessening his pain.
10.What can’t you wait for?
Finding an agent.
11.What would you like to see happen differently?
Fewer tragedies, less drama. 2008 was sort of horrifying in some ways.
12. What about yourself will you be changing?
HEALTH dang it all! That, and continuing to learn stress-management. Last year, I got an ulcer over it; this year, I will not.
13. What happened in 08 that you didn’t think would ever happen?
My dad’s health went south. While I knew this would happen to some extent, I never expected it to happen the way it did or with such horrible consequences.
14.Will you be nicer to the people you care about?
This is an interestin question. I will continue to do my best to show people that I care in the only ways I can. Whether they realize that – or, as in a few cases, crazily demand that I show them in some other way that isn’t possible – is up to them.
15. Will you dress differently this year than you did in 08?
*laughs* I doubt it?
16. Will you start or quit drinking?
Neither.
17. Will you better your relationship with your family?
Will continue staying the course, as it were.
18. Will you do charity work?
Quite possibly; our church has some fabulous outreach programs that have caught my attention.
19. Will you go to bars?
Heh. Doubtful.
20. Will you be nice to people you don’t know?
Usually.
21.Do you expect 09 to be a good year for you?
It will be a year of some kind….
22. How much did you change from this time last year till now?
Whoa. Um. Let’s see: confidence. Diligence. Education. Compassion. Hardening. Learning to draw boundaries. Learning to let things go. Depending more on God and His promises. Becoming so comfortable in my life and myself that if members of my family die, I will not be devastated. Realizing that I CAN WRITE.
23.Do you plan on having a child?
No.
24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
I certainly hope so.
25. Major lifestyle changes?
Back to the damn gym. Grrrr.
26. Will you be moving?
Nope.
27. What will you make sure doesn’t happen in 09 that happened in 08?
Health issues – which, of all the drama and madness that happened this year, is pretty much the only thing in my control.
28. What are your New Years Eve plans?
Going to be in NYC with my parents, brother, grandmother, and aunt.
29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
Yup!
30. One wish for 09?
Puuublication!
Do I sound obssessed?
Good.
